Welcome to Hastings Main Street!

Our mission is to foster a thriving, vibrant downtown area that reflects the unique character and heritage of our beloved community.

We are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents and visitors through a variety of community initiatives. Discover how you can get involved and make a difference in our town.

Restore & Renew: Historic Depot Project

The Historic Depot Project aims to preserve and repurpose two historic structures, transforming them into a museum and community center.

The restored depots will symbolize history and community pride, with one located near the old jail building on Cochran Avenue and the other along a scenic bike path, honoring the original Hastings Train Depot.

Join us in preserving our heritage and creating vibrant community spaces for future generations. Your support will help shape the future of Hastings.

Historic Steps: Paver Project Initiative

The Historic Paver Project aims to enhance North Main Street by replacing uneven grass with historic bricks, creating a safer and more attractive pedestrian environment. By expanding and improving the sidewalks, Hastings Main Street, Inc. is beautifying the historic district, fostering community pride, and encouraging local economic growth.

Support this transformative effort by donating today. Your contribution will help realize our vision, ensuring downtown Hastings remains a vibrant hub for everyone. Together, we can pave the way to a brighter future for Hastings Main Street.

Historic Streetlight Revival

Hastings Main Street, in partnership with St. Johns County and Florida Power & Light, is launching the

Historic Streetlight Revival.

This initiative aims to line historic Main Street with authentic lighting fixtures, enhancing nighttime visibility and safety while adding nostalgic charm. These historic lamp posts will illuminate the streetscape and contribute to the timeless ambiance of our downtown area.
